Button Masher Idle is Barbasu's 2016 idle about, as the almostidle directory still puts it, having Masher do all your work for you. It was a Kongregate-era browser game, listed by the wiki on 30 September 2016, and its host has since let it go.
What happened
The Kongregate listing is removed (both plausible spellings soft-404, verified live), the developer's itch.io profile is live but the game page 404s, and no Wayback snapshot preserves the game page. What survives: the almostidle directory entry, Barbasu's Patreon post about the game, and the imagery above, recovered during this entry's research pass.
The verdict
A historical entry for a small 2016 idle: host lost, listing removed, directory entry persisting. Barbasu moved on to other work, and the button, fittingly, mashes itself now.
