Chickens!
Slay chickens. Trade the spoils. Repeat, slowly.
by gamehelp16 · 2014 · Web
Chickens! is gamehelp16's 2014 browser incremental, and its opening screen is the whole philosophy: a bare button that says Slay chicken. You slay chickens, trade what they drop, and the progression is deliberately slow , the game is the pacing.
What the loop feels like
You slay a chicken. That's Chickens!
The spoils trade for upgrades, the upgrades slay faster, and the bare-bones page never gains a single sprite. That's Chickens!

The verdict
A curiosity from the genre's minimalist wing: the entire game is the button, and the button is enough. Historically cute, mechanically spare.
