Dungeon Clicker
Leandro Barone's 2013 Cookie-Clicker-in-a-dungeon: an open-source JS incremental.
by Leandro Barone · November 2013 · Web
Dungeon Clicker is Leandro Barone's 2013 JS incremental, listed on the r/incremental_games wiki right next to Dungeon Team in the era when every dungeon needed its own clicker. It is open source, it runs at leandrobarone.github.io (verified live), and it wears its Cookie Clicker and Clicking Bad influences on its sleeve.
What the loop feels like
You click the Adventure button, monsters fall, and the loot buys the next adventure. That's Dungeon Clicker.
Playing it today
Free at GitHub Pages, source on GitHub. The backdrop above is the game's own key art; note one honest quirk: the site's CSS still references a bg-animation.png that 404s, a broken asset since whoever last deployed it.
The verdict
A small, honest, open-source 2013 clicker: historically neat, mechanically simple, and still running on static hosting that will outlive most of its contemporaries.
