Micro City
Poke a pixel city and watch it evolve: TimelessP's canvas microcosm, actively maintained.
by TimelessP · 2024 · Web (GitHub Pages)
Micro City is TimelessP's pixel top-down city sim, living at timelessp.github.io/idlegames (verified 200, 245KB page, title-confirmed) inside an actively-pushed repo: poke the city, prod it, and watch it evolve through population, buildings and vehicles.
What the loop feels like
You place a road, the road draws houses, and the houses commission vehicles. That's Micro City.
Playing it today
Free at the official page, with the repo's official 512x320 thumbnail SVG and a fresh live capture above (40 population, 256 buildings, 64 vehicles on screen, visually confirmed crisp). The game is canvas-rendered with no raster assets, so the repo thumbnail and the capture are the complete set; four same-name collisions from board games to Micropolis forks are documented.
The verdict
A toy-box city sim with real motion in it: small, alive, and maintained by a developer who pushes.
