Conglomerate

Alegrium's business-tycoon tower: build the conglomerate, become rich and famous. Delisted, documented.

by Alegrium · 2015 · iOS (delisted)

Conglomerate: Become Rich & Famous is Alegrium's business-tycoon tower builder, the studio behind Billionaire Capitalist Tycoon, where you stack a corporate empire floor by floor until the fame part of the title activates. It is now a documented lost app, and one of the better-documented ones.

What the loop feels like

The documented systems are idle progression, automation and a resource economy, expressed as vertical construction: each floor is a purchase, each purchase produces, and the tower is the visible scoreboard of your empire's compounding. That's Conglomerate.

The fame layer is the bit the title promises: the tycoon fantasy does not stop at wealth but extends into celebrity, which was Alegrium's signature move and the reason their games sit adjacent to each other in this index. That's Conglomerate.

The systems doing the work

Honest documentation for a lost app is mostly paperwork, and the paperwork here is good. The App Store listing is gone, iTunes search returns nothing across five regions, verified, and the Lost Media Archive tracks it as lost. The TapTap listing preserved the description and supplied the gameplay screenshots and official trailer, oEmbed-verified, while Alegrium's contact email and sibling titles confirmed the developer. The wiki row's complete status matches TapTap's records, which is as close to a review history as this entry will get.

Where it stumbles

It stumbles out of the stores entirely. iOS delisted, no Android record found, and Alegrium's own portfolio has moved on, so there is no authorized way to play it and no community keeping the mechanics honest. What the loss costs is hard to price: the tower-builder hook was real, and the record can show the screenshots but not the loop's pacing.

Playing it today

Not through any official channel. The TapTap listing and this entry are the working record. Alegrium's other tycoon, Billionaire Capitalist Tycoon, is also in this index for the studio's surviving work.

The verdict

A historical entry, and a well-documented one: trailer, screenshots, icon, and a lost-media classification. Alegrium's second entry in this index, and like their Billionaire, a tycoon that the app stores forgot before the wiki did.
