Dashclicker
A dashboard-themed incremental: the UI is the joke, the numbers are the game.
by armn · 2021 · Web
Dashclicker is an open-source incremental that lives inside the one interface modern workers love to hate: the dashboard. The entire game is KPI cards, charts and buttons, and the joke is that the dashboard is exactly as productive as most real ones. Free at dashclicker.com, open source on GitHub, and listed on galaxy.click.
What the loop feels like
You click a metric, the metric improves, and the dashboard grows a new widget to monitor it. That's Dashclicker.
Playing it today
Free and live at dashclicker.com (Netlify-hosted, verified HTTP/2 200), on galaxy.click, and open source on GitHub. The official og:image above is 1200x1200; the galaxy.click thumbnail supplements it. The 16px favicon was discarded as unusable.
The verdict
A satire-first incremental with genuine mechanics underneath: if you have ever stared at a dashboard that measured nothing, this is the revenge.
