Endless Frontier
Ekkorr's march-forward RPG idle: an army that fights sideways through 3,000 stages.
by ekkorr · 21 February 2018 (iOS; Android earlier) · iOS / Android
Endless Frontier is ekkorr's mobile idle RPG about an army that only marches right: dozens of unit types stacked into a formation that fights automatically through thousands of stages while you manage pets, artifacts, and the unit cap. Released on Android in 2016 and iOS on 21 February 2018 (4.49 stars across 3,208 US ratings at v4.1.4), it remains one of the genre's cleanest examples of the march-and-manage loop.
What the loop feels like
Your army marches, the stage boss falls, and the spoils widen the formation. That's Endless Frontier.
Pets fight alongside, artifacts compound, and prestige resets the march but not the empire. That's Endless Frontier.

The verdict
One of the best pure formation-idles on mobile: honest about its free-to-play economy, generous with offline progress, and still updated.
