Galaxy Clicker
Blacktabb Games' 2024 planet-merging idle: buy worlds, fuse them, automate the galaxy.
by Blacktabb Games · April 2024 · Web
Galaxy Clicker is Blacktabb Games' 2024 Unity WebGL idle, released on CrazyGames in April 2024: planets revolve around a sun, every completed orbit pays income, and you spend it on more planets, bigger planets and faster orbits. It is one of the few entries here born on a modern portal rather than a nostalgic one.
What the loop feels like
The whole system is spinning when you arrive. Hold the left mouse button and everything revolves faster, the entire solar system accelerating under your finger while the income ticks up. You buy a rock, the rock merges into a moon, and the moons merge into something with rings. That's Galaxy Clicker.
The escalation is compounding. More planets mean more orbital income, faster orbits mean more cycles per minute, and merging converts a cluttered sky of small bodies into a few big earners. The listing promises different planets, stars and star systems, so the sky keeps changing shape as you climb, and the loop stays legible the whole way up. That's Galaxy Clicker.

The systems doing the work
Three named upgrade tracks carry the curve: stamina, income and speed. Stamina stretches how long an acceleration burst lasts, income lifts the payout per orbit, and speed shortens the orbit itself, so every coin has three sensible places to go. The buy-and-merge layer is the spine: purchase a new planet, merge two into a bigger one, and let the larger body's higher payout fund the next purchase. It is an idle in the truest sense, with the orbits paying whether you are holding the button or reading another tab. Players who want a textier, stranger take on the cosmos can pair it with Spaceplan.
Where it stumbles
Documented player criticism is thin, which is itself informative: this is a game people play and move on from rather than dissect. The design is shallow by intent, a merge-and-orbit loop with no narrative layer, no prestige and no endgame beyond a prettier sky. The last listed update landed a month after release, so do not expect the curve to evolve under you. It disambiguates cleanly from TLT Games' mobile Idle Space War and a defunct 2014 Android game of the same name, which matters when searching for it.

The verdict
A polished, modern merge-idle: shallow by design, pretty by intent, and a good gateway entry for players who found this index through a portal rather than a subreddit.
