Roguathia
seiyria's idle roguelike: a party dies in a dungeon, prestige via Seppuku, the party re-enters.
by seiyria (Ben Lyaunzon) · 2014 · Web (seiyria.com)
Roguathia is seiyria's idle roguelike, the fourth seiyria entry in this index: a party of adventurers repeatedly enters a procedurally generated dungeon and repeatedly dies, with NetHack-style stats, a prestige system called Seppuku, and SP/KP/UP upgrades that make the next death more productive. It runs at seiyria.com and on Kongregate, both verified 200, open source at v0.2.17.
What the loop feels like
You send the party in, the party dies, and the death funds the next party's stats. That's Roguathia.
Playing it today
Free at seiyria.com and on Kongregate, with the Kongregate icon and four JSON-LD screenshots above (the first vision-confirmed as the v0.2.17 UI: party, upgrades, ASCII dungeon). The GitHub OpenGraph social card was 429'd twice and is recorded as a documented gap rather than a missing file.
The verdict
The genre's best Seppuku pun, and a real roguelike loop underneath: procedurally generated death, productively automated.
