Shonen Idle Z is Zakos Games' anime-parody idle RPG, sibling to this index's Save the Earth: create a manga hero, train the martial skills, and fight the evil Kurowashi across a bestiary of 400 monsters. The Steam version is free and live (appid 492800, appdetails-verified, released July 22nd, 2016); the Kongregate web build is Flash-dead, recorded as defunct-as-playable with no Wayback needed.
What the loop feels like
You train a skill, the skill beats a monster, and the monster drops the next training arc. That's Shonen Idle Z.
Playing it today
Free on Steam, with seven Steam assets above (header, capsule, five 942x602 screenshots). One API quirk preserved: Steam's appdetails flags is_free=false while the store page says Free To Play, recorded as-is.
The verdict
A shonen-training-parody idle with a real bestiary count: 400 monsters is a genuine number, and the Steam build still answers.
