Shop Titans
Craft gear, stock the shop, sell to heroes at a markup. The RPG shopkeeper sim, free, on every platform that matters.
by Kabam Games, Inc. · 2020-05-05 · Steam / iOS / Android
Shop Titans answers a question most RPGs never think to ask: what is all that loot actually for? Kabam’s free-to-play shopkeeper sim, live since May 2020, makes you the NPC. Heroes arrive at your counter with questing budgets in hand, and your job is to craft the equipment they overpay for, hire heroes of your own to raid dungeons for crafting materials, and grow a storefront from a single anvil into a multi-wing retail empire. The fantasy of being the shopkeeper is the whole joke and the whole charm, and the game commits to it completely.
What the loop feels like
The first scene is the markup. You craft a blade from stockpiled ore, stock it on the shelf, and watch an Adventurer wander in and pay triple what the parts cost, and the profit margin is the dopamine.
The second scene is the supply chain. The heroes you hired raid a dungeon while you tend the counter, they return dragging ore and monster parts, the workshop turns it into the next shelf of stock, and the shop gets a new wing. That’s Shop Titans.

Where it stumbles
Honest gaps first: this entry is built from store and platform research rather than deep community criticism, so the long-game economy is under-documented here. What the structure makes plain: progression is free-to-paced, with in-app purchases speeding timers and convenience rather than gating content, so impatient players will feel the acceleration pressure in the late shop. And being a live-service storefront sim, it rewards the daily habit; players who skip a week come back to paperwork.
Playing it today
It is free everywhere, one account across all of it from Kabam: Steam for Windows and Mac, the App Store, Google Play, and the browser client at playshoptitans.com. If shopkeeping is the hook, Cookie Clicker and AdVenture Capitalist run the same numbers with less craft.
The verdict
The definitive shopkeeper idle and the rare F2P done with restraint. If you have ever wanted to be the reason the hero could afford to save the world, this is your empire.
