Slime Farm
Raise, evolve and trade magical slimes on a small patch of land that slowly becomes a farm.
by ANTENN · 22 Oct, 2024 · Steam
A small patch of land and a couple of basic slimes are all you get at the start of Slime Farm, ANTENN’s October 2024 Steam sim about nurturing, playing with, evolving and trading magical slimes. The pitch is unapologetically cute: elemental slimes with quirky behaviors and moods, breeding programs that unlock exotic rare varieties, and a farm that grows from a modest pen into a thriving magical haven.
What the loop feels like
The first scene is the feeding. Each slime has its own preferences, and Elemental Foods like Frostberries and Sunfruits shape their attributes and moods, with the right diet nudging a slime toward surprising transformations and new evolutions.
The second scene is the breeding chart. Two compatible slimes go into the program, resources have been balanced so the population is well fed and content, and the result is a species you had not seen before, which goes straight into the next pairing or the trading pen. That’s Slime Farm.

How it actually works
The store materials name the systems: slime interactions built on learning each creature’s preferences, Elemental Foods that influence attributes and unlock evolutions, diverse slime breeding for rare and exotic species, resource management balancing food, elemental resources and space, and Elemental Fountains that channel Fire, Water, Earth or Nature energy to attract specific slimes and speed up food growth. It is a care-first loop rather than a numbers-first one, closer to a relaxing husbandry sim than a hard idle grinder.
Where it stumbles
Honest gaps first: our deeper research pass for this entry returned material about a different, far better-known slime ranching game, so this write-up leans on the store page and platform facts rather than community play reports, and long-term balance notes are under-documented here. What the design plainly asks: it is a gentle, slow game, and players expecting automation-heavy idle depth will find the emphasis sits with care and breeding rather than exponential growth.
Playing it today
It is a budget purchase on Steam for Windows from ANTENN, single-player with Family Sharing supported. For cute creature idling with a longer tail, Tiny Pasture and Plantera 2: Golden Acorn make fine companions.
The verdict
A gentle, genuinely cute elemental-slime husbandry sim: feed, breed, evolve, repeat. Come for the cozy, and do not expect the numbers to carry it.
