Tap Happy with GiGi
A Cookie Clicker-style idle carrying 2,600 lines of personal stories: GiGi's first solo game.
by Curtiss 'GiGi' Murphy (GiGi Games LLC / Game Design Zen) · September 2014 (iOS) / October 2014 (Android) · iOS / Android (defunct)
Tap Happy with GiGi is Curtiss Murphy's first solo game, a Cookie Clicker-style idle built in about thirteen weeks and eleven thousand lines of code, distinguished by 2,600 lines of personal Chicken Soup Game stories woven into the upgrades, with music from Kevin MacLeod and Eric Matyas. Both stores are dead (iTunes lookup zero results, Play 404), but the developer's product page still stands.
What it was
A personal tap-idle from a veteran designer's first solo outing: six live-sourced assets above (icon, screenshots, promo art), all PNG-verified from the developer's own pages and mirrors. The store IDs survive on record: id902186223 and com.goodgamesbydesign.taphappy.
The verdict
A delisted first-game artifact with its author's voice intact: the stories were the game, and the game's page still tells them.
