Built by a two-person team, Cat And Life is a casual healing simulation about living alongside cats: you are the designated pooper-scooper (their word for it, roughly), and the game's whole ambition is a slow, pressure-free sanctuary of feline company. It launched in November 2024, and it plays in fragments: light idle accumulation keeps resources trickling in through the workday gaps.

What the loop feels like

Days are petting, playing and feeding. Daily interactions build emotional bonds with a growing roster of breeds and personalities, and meals cater to each cat's taste. When you step away, the cattery keeps humming quietly and hands you its small dividends on return. That's Cat And Life.

Nudge the pace and the world responds in kind. The environment matters, comfort directly affecting cat mood, so decorating the cattery with furniture, wallpapers and ornaments is gameplay, not garnish. Where it stumbles

The honest caveats cluster around audience and language. The loop is deliberately basic, feed cats, decorate rooms, keep a quiet virtual home, with little mechanical depth or replay value beyond the bond unlocks. English support is thin: the game lacks robust localization, making interface and narrative elements difficult for non-Chinese-speaking players, a real barrier given the heart-voice stories are the payoff. And the community footprint is essentially zero, no active discussions, no guides, no mods. The review pool is tiny and currently reads mixed on our fresh pull, so treat any impression as provisional.
