Conradito Cafézito

A coffee-shop incremental sold for the price of coffee and finished in an afternoon: 36 recipes, 9 expansions, one New Roast reset.

by Conrado Saud · 10 Dec, 2024 · Steam (Windows)

There is a coffee shop where the menu starts at black coffee and ends, eventually, at drinks you have never ordered in your life, and the whole thing fits inside an afternoon. Conradito Cafézito is an incremental about running that shop, made by Conrado Saud, sold for about the price of an actual cup of coffee, and finished by most people in two or three hours. It announces all of this on the store page, which is refreshing.

It released on Steam in December 2024 as a pixel-art café management toy: you grind beans, you brew, you unlock recipes from the real world, and the interface politely unrolls more tabs as your wealth earns them. Where most idlers (see Cookie Clicker) are built to run for months, this one is built like a short story.

What the loop feels like

You click a brew button, and coffee happens, and the coffee sells for more than the beans cost. That's Conradito Cafézito.

You buy a machine, and the machine brews while you click something else, and then a second machine brews while both of you do nothing at all. That's Conradito Cafézito.

You unlock milk, and chocolate, and the two of them combine into recipes that jump your profit per second in a way no amount of equipment grinding could. That's Conradito Cafézito, and it is the whole genre compressed into recipe cards.

The mechanics, named

The stack runs on 36 recipes built from 8 ingredients, with 35 improvements and machines grouped into 7 real-world production concepts, from grinding through brewing to the stuff that happens after the cup leaves the bar. Nine expansions modify how the game actually plays rather than just multiplying a number, and 7 minigames break up the idle stretches. Money itself is the unlock gate: wealth thresholds open new equipment tiers and new regions.

The prestige layer is called New Roast, a reset that trades your café for permanent multipliers. The community's practical advice lines up across guides: click hard through the opening minutes, prioritise unlocking a new recipe over upgrading old machinery, and let the game idle through the mid-game wealth walls rather than grinding them.

Honest criticisms

The obvious one is length. A campaign of roughly two to three hours is a feature for some players and a refund-sized complaint for others, and reviews split along exactly that line. If you want a Melvor-scale commitment this is not it; there is no Melvor-scale anything here.

The minigames are light. They are there to keep your hands busy while numbers rise, and if you have played a lot of the genre you will find nothing mechanically new under the coffee theme.

Playing it today

It is Windows-only on Steam, single-player, mouse-driven, with cloud saves and a playable-at-your-own-pace certification on the store page. The developer's own FAQ confirms the short runtime and the New Roast reset. No mobile version exists; our iOS and Google Play checks found no listing by Conrado Saud.

Verdict

A small, self-aware, well-made coffee break of an incremental. If the pitch of a finished, finite idle game appeals to you at all, this is one of the cleanest expressions of the idea around.
