Holy Wars
Build a kingdom of holy warriors against The Evil One: CursedAnubis and LadyUndine's 2018 idle.
by CursedAnubis (with LadyUndine) · 2018 · Web (GitHub Pages)
Holy Wars is CursedAnubis and LadyUndine's 2018 web incremental about raising a kingdom of holy warriors to battle The Evil One, hosted at holywarsgame.github.io (verified 200, last modified December 2018). It is live and playable, and unmaintained for years: the entry flags both facts as one state, live-defunct.
What the loop feels like
You gather faith, faith buys warriors, and the warriors march on The Evil One. That's Holy Wars.
Playing it today
Playable at the official GitHub Pages home, with the game's complete icon set recovered (eighteen resource icons across gold, faith, souls, wood, steel, mana and more). One community-known flaw preserved honestly: the game has no save progress, a known issue from its own community.
The verdict
A tidy single-page fantasy idle from a two-person team: play it in one sitting, because that is the only way it can be played.
