Idle Tree
Four popes kicking trees: Jelnir's short, beatable, prestige-free Flash idle, re-released as 2.0 after an update mistake.
by Jelnir · 2014 · Web (Flash, defunct)
Idle Tree is Jelnir's 2014 Kongregate Flash idle about a party of four popes kicking trees across four screens, short and beatable with no prestige, re-released as Idle Tree 2.0 in 2015 after a dev-side update mistake broke the original. The Kong page is now removed (200-redirect to the Kong homepage), the Play listing 404s, and the July 2014 Wayback capture (game id 553913, verified via archived og:image) holds the record.
What it was
A one-sitting idle about kicking trees, mechanically modest by design. The archived page's other 250x200 icons turned out to be sidebar promos for unrelated games (The Deepest Sleep, Renegades, Kick The Critter), caught in context and discarded; only the og:image icon survives, and it is the header above.
The verdict
A small, clean historical entry: one honest image, a documented removal, and the 2.0 re-release story preserved.
