Immortal Clicker
Cultivate your inner strength, deploy sword spirits and awaken runes: a xianxia-flavored tapping loop.

Eastern cultivation fantasy keeps lending its progression loop to the idle genre, and Immortal Clicker is a compact example: your immortal fights monsters automatically, you cultivate inner strength, deploy sword spirits, and chase awakening tiers with runes. Kechang Zhu's 2023 free iOS release wraps familiar tap-idle bones in xianxia clothing, and the costume mostly fits.
What the loop feels like
Combat runs itself: your character fights through monster waves on an automated loop while you manage the machinery around it. Active input accelerates things, triggering skills or manual strikes, and the Sword Spirits you deploy grant the layered passive and active benefits that define your build. Ultimate move points gate the big hits, recovering quickly enough early on to keep momentum high, and a quality-of-life touch lets every deployed spirit's skill fire in a single tap. That's Immortal Clicker.
The deeper systems reward planning: level resets are free and grant Traits for custom stat distribution, gear forging raises stat caps and adds bonus option levels like cooldown reduction, and late-game Awakening spends specialized resources to cut monster health pools while Runes push multipliers further. Up to five distinct awakening presets cover different boss and farming scenarios, so a build tuned for clearing trash and one tuned for burst boss damage can coexist. That's Immortal Clicker.

How it actually works
The named systems are the AFK-active hybrid, sword spirit deployment, ultimate move point management, gear upgrading and forging, free trait resets, and the awakening-rune endgame with its five presets. Veteran advice from experienced players: put early trait points into Attack, Critical Chance and Critical Damage rather than defensive HP, keep enough health to survive heavy boss hits, and save rune dice and high-tier materials for endgame gear instead of upgrading low-tier equipment past its useful lifespan.
Where it stumbles
The ceiling arrives on schedule. Players describe a repetitive loop with little mid-to-late-game strategic variety, eventually flattening into a pure numbers grind. Monetization prompts and ad-watching incentives are frequent for the sub-genre. Updates have been sparse, so content dryness sets in: the animations and tier unlocks carry the early game, then a hard wall arrives. Against true cultivation games it is a tapping interface rather than a strategy sandbox, and the community around it stays small.
Playing it today
It is free on the App Store (appid 6446908994), positioned as a low-friction time-killer with a Discord for feedback. If the cultivation fantasy deserves more depth, Grimoire Incremental and NGU Idle both run far deeper progression systems in the catalog.
The verdict
Immortal Clicker is a tidy, shallow cultivation idle with more build flexibility than its peers: presets, free resets and spirit layers give it a real spine. The wall comes eventually and the ad prompts nag, but as a free tapping loop it holds attention longer than most of its peers.
