Reincarnation Monster Clicker
Recruit monsters, build your party formation and reincarnate your way through an ancient treasure hunt.

Reincarnation Monster Clicker is Kunio Tokumaru's free idle RPG for iOS, released in August 2025. It starts as a tap battler and quietly turns into a formation puzzle: over a hundred recruitable monsters, a front line and a back line, and a reincarnation loop that trades your stage progress for permanent power. The story setup, a reincarnated adventurer in a mana-flooded land, is exactly as decorative as it sounds, and the pixel monsters are the actual stars.
What the loop feels like
You tap, monsters fall, and you feed the fallen some meat, befriending them onto your side. Slimes first, then dragons, then stranger things, each one taking a slot on the field and a role in the formation. That's Reincarnation Monster Clicker.
You hit a boss gate, the formation buckles, and you pull the reincarnation lever: stages wiped, currency gone, permanent attack power up. Your monsters keep their skills and growth bonuses, the next climb is faster, and the gate that stopped you dissolves in minutes. That's Reincarnation Monster Clicker.
How it actually works
Recruitment is the signature system: enemy monsters are befriended by feeding them meat, and re-recruiting the same species powers it up with enhanced growth bonuses and skill levels, so the collection log and the power curve are the same object. Combat is placement-driven, tanks holding the front while supports and damage dealers work from the back, and every monster carries one of four role kits, attack, heal, buff or debuff, so formation decisions matter more than raw rarity.
Structure comes from boss gates that block progress every ten, twenty or thirty stages, testing whether the formation can absorb burst damage or outlast attrition. The reincarnation system answers those walls: a reset that wipes stage progress and currency in exchange for permanently boosted player attack, while monster skill levels and growth bonuses carry across cycles, guaranteeing every loop is faster and deeper. Auto-battle runs the field, coins accrue while the app is closed, and support monsters, login bonuses and rotating events pad the resource flow.
Where it stumbles
The genre fatigue arrives on schedule: once early upgrades slow, the loop is a standard tapper with a formation garnish, and there is not the systemic depth here that PC idle mainstays trade in. The free-to-play scaffolding, login bonuses, event timers, support tiers, is competent but familiar, and the interface is built for a thumb, so nothing about it rewards a bigger screen. It is a minor title by design, a quick mobile time-killer rather than a community obsession, and the players who bounce off it bounce off the shallowness, not the charm.
Playing it today
Free on the App Store, with an Android version on Google Play, no upfront cost and an idle-rewards design that respects a closed app. If the befriend-the-monsters loop hooks you, Creature Clicker runs the same capture-and-train fantasy in a browser, and XiuzhenWorld pairs pet-taming with a much heavier prestige stack.
The verdict
A cheerful, shallow, well-behaved monster-collector clicker whose formation system lifts it above the tapper baseline. Feed the meat to the dragon, reincarnate without fear, and enjoy it for the commute it was built for.
