Scrapocalypse
Two resources, one post-apocalypse: balance scrap against electricity workers at v1.0.
by (scrapocalypse.com) · 2020 · Web (scrapocalypse.com)
Scrapocalypse is a finished little web clicker living at its own domain, scrapocalypse.com, and it runs one tight idea: two coupled resources that buy each other. Workers convert scraps into electricity, electricity hires workers who gather more scraps, and the whole post-apocalyptic economy climbs by alternately starving and saturating one side or the other. It is marked version 1.0 and complete, which in the incremental genre is almost a boast: this game ends on purpose.
What the loop feels like
The first scene is the coupling. You start clicking out scraps by hand, hire your first worker, and watch the electricity meter become the real bottleneck, because the worker count you can afford is always exactly one purchase behind what the grid can power.
The second scene is the crossover. Balances tip, purchases start compounding on both sides at once, and the click that opened the game becomes a nostalgic gesture while achievements tick over in the corner. That’s Scrapocalypse.

Where it stumbles
Honest gaps first: the game ships no documentation and no press footprint, so the shape of its achievement list and any late-game wrinkles beyond the core loop are hard to verify from living sources. What is plain is the scale. Two resources and an achievements page is a lunch-break incremental, not an evening-hog, and players expecting a third currency or prestige layer will hit the ending while it is still fun.
Playing it today
It is free in the browser at the official site, complete and still live, with a listing on Almost Idle. For bigger two-currency compounding, Cookie Clicker and Universal Paperclips are the genre’s essential tours.
The verdict
A complete, small, two-resource post-apocalypse: exactly as deep as it needs to be, exactly finished.
