Bloody Hell Reaper
You are the lord of hell. Click humans, harvest blood, judge souls. A 20-hour jam game with a cult following.

Bloody Hell Reaper is a 20-hour game jam project that got out of hand: you are the lord of hell, you click humans for blood, and the blood funds an escalating catalogue of damnation infrastructure, from Human Farms to Satanic Rituals to Raining Blood. AndreuF built it in a 2015 game jam with artist Victor Navarro, and Kongregate still hosts it.
What the loop feels like
You click a human, blood spills, and the blood buys a Human Farm. The pixel street fills with victims, the droplets tick upward, and hell's balance sheet starts looking healthy. That's Bloody Hell Reaper.
Satanic Rituals automate the harvest, souls get judged to heaven or hell for multipliers, and the unit counter starts measuring things in Elephants. Also that's Bloody Hell Reaper.

The systems doing the work
The blood economy is the spine: humans spawn on screen and are clicked or auto-killed into droplets, droplets convert into blood, and blood buys everything. A critical system rewards timing, with crit hits increasing droplets based on a flat modifier plus your current judgement record, and autokill timers dispatch humans without your input as the automation layer arrives.
The upgrade trees have genuinely funny names and real functions. Superpopulation raises the on-screen human cap; Doctors slash respawn delay, which is exactly as dark as it sounds. Polycythemia yields more droplets per human, Leukocytosis extracts more blood per droplet, and the high-tier idle infrastructure, Human Farm, Satanic Rituals, Raining Blood, converts the whole thing from active clicking into a heavy passive generator. Achievement multipliers scale total blood production exponentially, and the Wicked Kind Shop sells whatever the last tier of horror happens to be. Community advice follows the structure: balance spawn-side and yield-side upgrades early rather than dumping everything into idle generation, because a farm with no visitors earns nothing.
An honesty note on research: our criticism pass mismatched this title with an unrelated Steam game, so its output was discarded; the detail here rests on the mechanics pass and the game itself, which is playable and therefore its own best source.
Playing it today
Live and playable: the Kongregate page still runs the game, verified in this rewrite, with a modest but real play count behind it. Both developers linked walkthrough videos themselves on the release thread, which is how this entry's two verified videos were found. There was never a Steam, mobile or downloadable release.
The verdict
A 20-hour jam game with real personality: pixel-art sinning, blood-drop economics, and an upgrade shop that knows exactly what kind of game it is. Rough around the edges, cheerfully tasteless, entertaining for an evening, and still playable at the source, which is more than most of its Kongregate cohort can say.
