Dot
Your Dots: N. One clickable magenta dot. u/mission712's minimalist 2015 clicker, archived.
by u/mission712 (site by bydemir) · 2015 · Web (defunct)
Dot is a 2015 minimalist clicker in the purest sense: a purple page, a magenta dot, and a counter reading Your Dots. You click the dot, dots per second accumulates, and the Objects and Upgrades panels fill in around the void. u/mission712's wiki row points at thedot.bydemir.net, which is now DNS-dead, verified in this rewrite.
Playing it today
The host is gone, but the 2015 Wayback capture preserved the working game, and the screenshots above were captured from the archive playback itself: the game runs, in the archive, exactly as it did. The 2017+ captures are a placeholder page, so the 2015 snapshot is the one that matters.
The verdict
A historical entry in the minimalist tradition of BASIC and Number: one dot, one verb, and an archive that actually plays. Small, purple, complete.
